Woodfire handled mug with swirly texture
One-of-a-kind woodfired handled mug with a handcarved swirly pattern. The outside of the mug has no glaze to capture the magic of the firing atmosphere. The interior is lined with a gold shino glaze. After wheelthrowing the form and adding the handle and design, it was then woodfired which includes a team of a dozen+ artists in a labor-intensive process that takes a day to load, 20+ hours of continuous stoking, and then another day to unload and clean the kiln. Approximately 4 in h x 3 in mouth x 4.5 in w with handle. This is the smallest mug in this collection. Food safe. (inventory#15)
