My name is Alison Kysia

(K-eye/see/ya) and I am a Muslim woman ceramic artist who makes contemporary abstract Islamic sculpture & small batch functional pottery. I use clay because, according to the Quran, we are made from it. My vessels embolden our humanity and connection to one another, calling forth The Creator within us all.
