Al Wadud is one of the 99 Names of God in Islam meaning The Most Loving One. "Ya" in Arabic is like saying "Oh" and is a way of calling someone's attention, like calling out, "Oh Most Loving One!" The Love Vessels are abstract hearts and the handle, like two hands grasping one another, signifies our need for loving relationships to nourish our hearts.
